Teaching Assistant

Location: Wadebridge Primary Academy

Wadebridge Primary Academy are looking for a Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of:
- Child development
- Supporting children at all stages of their learning, including those with SEN

Experience in First Aid and experience of supporting small group interventions is preferable but not essential.

This position is for 28.75 hours per week and will in the first instance be based in Year 1 at the school.

Working weeks - 38 per year
Paid weeks - 43.699
Pay scale - Bridge 2 (£12.02ph)

Phase Leader

Location: Wadebridge Primary Academy

Are you interested in joining a new wider leadership team? We are looking to appoint a number of Phase Leaders across the school (from Nursery to Year 6) to ensure:
• Outstanding curriculum provision;
• Excellent learning and teaching practice, supporting the team to achieve this;
• Highest standards of student welfare and behaviour;
• Working with, and contributing to, the wider leadership of the school alongside the Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo to ensure consistency in the highest of standards, monitoring and reviewing school policies and practices, and fulfilling the aims of the SDP.

Distribution of Phases will be confirmed after appointment. Further details about the Phase Leader role will be emailed out to all staff and displayed on the staff room board.
