Wild tribe Accreditation

Fantastic news!

Well done to Mr Jones and the children who had a Wild tribe assessor come visit their session on Monday. Naturally, she was very impressed by their knowledge and enthusiasm which has resulted in St Cleer becoming a Wild Tribe accredited school. Well done everyone!
Staff are looking forward to trying whittling and toast over a fire on our Inset day!
I hope you find the chance to enjoy the wild over half term.

The votes have been counted and verified...CONGRATULATIONS!

PSHE Curriculum

As you will be aware our PSHE curriculum will be based on the Jigsaw which is a highly effective and comprehensive curriculum to deliver the personal, social and heath education of our children at St Cleer. We shared the parent guidance leaflet with you a few weeks ago which I also attach here. If you have any questions about the curriculum do please get in touch with your child's class teacher or myself.

The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors have a values challenge for you! Get creative...

A live discussion with our Chair of Governors

Thank you to the group of children that spoke to our chair of governors today about their experiences of returning to school.
The children are very clear about how their learning is going and feel comfortable and relaxed back with their friends and teachers.
Thank you Adrian for taking the time to meet with them. Hopefully we can do this in person in the not so distant future.

Be creative challenge

Can you design a logo/character/image to reflect our school values?

Why is difficult learning worthwhile?

Well done for a fantastic first week back!

Welcome Back!

The classrooms are alight with conversation, smiles and questioning. We are so pleased to welcome all of your children back to school today. You did an absolutely fantastic job at reassuring them and leaving them with a hug and a smile. I have no doubt there might be some bumps in the road but thank you for making the drop off this morning such a calm experience. I am very much looking forward to seeing the next steps of your child's learning unfold in the coming weeks. The Early Years are busy talking to parents and making sure that the children are ready to transition in as smoothly as possible. We have missed you all and are so glad to have you back. Remember to stay vigilant about hand washing and social distancing when we can. Cornwall has done so well in the current pandemic, let't take good care of each other.

Have a lovely start to the week.

Be excellent...at sharing a problem.
